By participating in this competition, entrants agree to the rules set out below.


  1. This competition is limited to residents of South Africa. In addition, the following people shall not be eligible to participate in this competition:
    • Directors, members, partners, promotional and advertising agents, merchandisers, employees or consultants of Nestlé (South Africa) Proprietary Limited (“Nestlé”) and the organisers of the Competition.
    • People who are not legal residents and/or legal citizens of the Republic of South Africa.
    • Spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of the persons specified in 1.1 above.
    • Persons under the age of 18 years.
  2. The competition shall commence on 1st October 2016 and will end on 30th November 2016. No entries received after 30th November 2016 will be considered.
  3. Mechanics:
    To participate in this competition, entrants must adhere to the following:
    1. Retailer Mechanic:
      • Buy ANY MILO 125g, 250g or 500g product.

      • Entry costs 20c/20secs as per USSD entry. Free minutes do not apply.

  4. The Prize:

  5. How to claim your prize:
    • At the time that a potential prize winner is identified, the potential prize winner will receive a telephone call from a representative of Nestlé or a partner agency of Nestlé at which point he/she may be required to answer a few questions regarding his/her eligibility as well as be requested to submit certain documents such as proof of purchase (receipts) and a copy of his/her ID and/or driver’s license to the Nestlé representative.
    • The potential prize winner is not an actual winner until his/her submission is validated and his/her documents are completed and submitted to Nestlé. If a potential prize winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, the prize will be forfeited and a runner up finalist will be deemed the potential prize winner subject to the terms and conditions herein.
    • If Nestlé or the organisers of the competition are unable to reach any of the potential prize winners within 72 hours of their name being drawn, for whatsoever reason, including incorrect telephone numbers or inoperative telephone numbers, such winner will be disqualified and a runner up finalist will be deemed the potential prize winner subject to the terms and conditions herein.
    • Eligible winners will have their prizes delivered to them by a representative of Nestlé or a partner agency of Nestlé based on the information they will have shared via the above mentioned telephonic conversation.
  6. General
    • The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
    • Nestle may require the winner to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement to enable Nestlé to ensure compliance with these rules. Should the winner be found not to have complied with these rules, he/she will automatically be disqualified and the prize will be forfeited. Winners may also be required to sign acceptance of prizes and indemnity documents.
    • The prize/s are not transferable, and no substitution or cash redemption of prizes is permitted. The prize will not be handed/awarded to a third party, but only to the verified prize winner.
    • Nestlé reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute the prize with any other prize of comparable or greater commercial value for whatever reason.

Nestlé KLIM 2016 Competition

By participating in this competition, entrants agree to these Rules.


  1. By entering into the KLIM 2016 COMPETITION, entrants agree to the rules set out below.
  2. Eligible participants stand a chance to win a share of R200 000 in prizes, including 10 000 airtime prizes to the value of R5 each, one cash prize to the value of R100 000 for the winner and one cash prize to be allocated to a community to the value of R50 000.
  3. This competition is open to all South African residents or South African Citizens over the age of eighteen (18) years (any persons under the age of eighteen (18) must have their parent/guardian’s permission before entering). However, the following persons are not eligible to enter: directors; members; business partners; employees; sales agents; advertising agency staff; advisors; or consultants of Nestle, its associated companies, service providers and the immediate family members of these persons (including their spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers and sisters) and any other person who is controlled directly or indirectly by Nestle, as well as the associated companies of entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph, including holding companies and subsidiaries, their employees, agents, subsidiaries and consultants.
  4. Participants or entrants younger than 18 years must have the consent of their parents or legal guardian. The prizes will only be released to the winners’ parent or guardian.
  5. The Competition will commence on 01 October 2016 and end on 31 December 2016, both days inclusive. No entries received after midnight on 31 December 2016 will be considered.
  6. To participate in the Competition, each participant must: Purchase any pack of KLIM. Dial *120*5546# and follow the prompts for qualifying questions which will include entering a unique code found on the packaging of the purchased KLIM product, an ID number (or part thereof) and answers to simple questions about the participant or his/ her family. The participant will then be successfully entered into the competition. Do not SMS to this number.
    • The product mentioned above may be purchased at any store in South Africa. Promotional packs can be easily identified as they bear the competition mechanics on the label.
    • USSD entries cost 20c per 20 seconds. Free minutes do not apply. Incomplete entries may be billed by your service provider. The Promoter shall not be responsible for telecommunication failure on the part of the Participant’s service provider. Participants may enter as many times as they choose to increase their chances of winning.
    • Due to network restrictions, the USSD session will timeout after 120 seconds. If a consumer successfully enters the barcode before the session times out, their entry will be considered valid.
    • Winners may be requested to provide proof of purchase for the KLIM product purchased during the competition period, with a matching barcode to the one used when entering the competition.
  7. A random audited draw to determine the prize winner will be conducted on 06 January 2017 at the Nestle offices in Bryanston.
  8. The prize winner will be notified telephonically on the number used to enter the competition. Upon receipt of the call the potential prize winner may be required to provide his / her email address (if available), work telephone number (if available) and a copy of his / her ID book and / or driver’s licence to a representative from Nestlé (South Africa) (Pty) Limited. At the time of the telephone call, the potential prize winner may be required to answer several questions about his / her eligibility and may be required to provide proof of purchase. If a potential prize winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the runner-up finalist. Potential prize winner is not an actual winner until his / her submission is validated and his / her documents are completed and submitted to Nestlé (South Africa) (Pty) Limited. In the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions by the potential prize winner, the prize will be forfeited and the runner-up finalist will be deemed the potential prize winner subject to all conditions herein.
  9. If Nestlé, the organisers of the competition and the Promoters are unable to reach any of the potential prize winners within 72 hours of their name being drawn, for whatsoever reason, including incorrect telephone numbers or inoperative telephone numbers, such winner will be disqualified and a runner up finalist will be deemed the potential prize winner subject to the terms and conditions herein.
  10. Participants must enter on a phone that is owned and registered to that person. No other person can use another person’s phone for Competition entry purposes. If it is discovered that participants have entered on a phone that is not registered to them they will be disqualified and the entrant will be requested to refund the prizes to promoter. This is to avoid fraud and ensure compliance to the CPA.
  11. Each entrant is expected to be the owner of that phone and no singular person can enter off another mobile phone number. This is to avoid additional fraud being conducted by multiple SIM card owners.
  12. The cell phone number is key to all entries, if the entrant has won on a cell phone number they cannot use another number in order to be contacted further, this number needs to be a number that is contactable during office hours.
  13. Winners are only eligible to win one prize within a 12 month period following the date the winner was first contacted.

This competition is operated by Nestle South Africa (Proprietary) Limited (“Nestlé”), who reserve the right in its sole discretion and to the extent permitted by law, to amend these Rules at any time.

Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these Rules and entrants agree to abide by these Rules.

These Rules shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of South Africa and any entrant and Nestlé consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of South Africa.

  3. Mechanics
    To participate in this competition entrants must adhere to the following:
    • Consumer purchases qualifying Lazenby product. Consumer SMS’s the last four digits of the barcode to 45904 (SMS charged at R 1.50). Free SMS’s or minutes do not apply.
    • Consumer receives automated SMS response that they have been entered into a grand prize draw.
    • If the participant does not receive an automated response within 48 (forty eight) hours of entering the competition, the participant must contact Nestlé or the promoter on 0869990743, failing which, their entry will not be considered. If the promoter or Nestlé is not contacted by a participant, the promoter and Nestlé will assume that the Participant has received an automated response.
    • Weekly draws will be conducted and instant prizes will be given to selected prize winners. The selected winners will receive an SMS notification with a contact number which they will be required to call in order to redeem their prize.
    • The grand prize draw will take place on 31/10/2016 and the winners will be notified telephonically, by 03/12/2016.
    • The Promoter or their agents will endeavour to contact the prize winners on the telephone number and email address provided. If, however, they cannot be reached after 3 (three) attempts made within 3 (three) working days of the Promoter trying to contact them, the prize will be forfeited and another prize winner/finalist will be selected in accordance with the competition rules via a random draw.
  4. The Prize:
    • Participants entering the competition stand a chance to win prizes coordinated through a weekly draw. There will be a total of 3500 instant prizes:
      • 1000 X Shoprite digital grocery voucher to the value of R350.00 each.
      • 1000 X 12 month magazine subscriptions – maximum value R400.00 per winner.
      • 1500 X Cooking classes – maximum value R600.00 per winner.
    • There will also be a grand prize draw, which will be a Thailand flavour infused trip to the value of R80 000.00. The grand prize includes the following for two people on a per person sharing basis:
      • 3 nights in Bangkok
      • 3 nights in Chang Mai
      • 4 nights in Phuket, Kata Beach
      • The grand prize will include the following:
        • Economy class airfare from:
          • Johannesburg to Bangkok;
          • Bangkok to Chang Mai;

      • Any costs associated with passport and visa applications. The promoter shall not be required to provide any assistance to participants in relation to these applications apart from furnishing details of the competition and the prize to be used in the applications.     • All participants stand a chance to win the grand prize. Weekly winners are not excluded from the grand prize draw.

  5. How to claim your prize:
    • At the time that a potential weekly prize winner is identified, the potential prize winner will receive an SMS, the SMS shall contain a pin code and a telephone number which the potential prize winner should call. During this telephone call, the potential weekly prize winner will be required to present his/her pin code, answer a few questions regarding his/her eligibility as well as be requested to submit certain documents such as proof of purchase (receipts) and a copy of his/her ID and/or driver’s license to the Nestlé representative.
    • The potential weekly prize winner is not an actual winner until his/her submission is validated and his/her documents are completed and submitted to Nestlé. If a potential weekly prize winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, the prize will be forfeited and a runner up will be deemed the potential weekly prize winner subject to the terms and conditions herein.
    • If the potential weekly prize winner fails to phone the number provided by the 30/09/2019, he/she will forfeit the prize.
    • Eligible winners will have their prizes sent digitally via SMS.
    • The lead time for the prize winner to retrieve the digital vouchers from date of calling in and being verified will be 7 business days.
    • The grand prize winner will be contacted via telephone and will be required to provide their date of travel two months prior to travelling. The grand prize needs to be redeemed six months post the potential grand prize winner being notified that they are the potential winner.
    • The potential grand prize winner will be required to answer a few questions regarding his/her eligibility as well as be requested to submit certain documents such as proof of purchase (receipts) and a copy of his/her ID and/or driver’s license to the Nestlé representative.
    • Cancellations or travel changes after confirmation of booking will not be permitted. However, changes may be made directly with the service provider and all costs incurred as a result will be for the prize-winner’s expense. This includes but is not limited to any cancellation fees and rebooking fees.
    • The Promoter and its agencies cannot be held liable for any changes to travel schedules, routes and destinations.
    • Children under 16 years cannot travel unaccompanied. For persons between the ages of 16 and 21, parental/ guardian approval may be requested.

Nestlé Infant Cereals: 150 Years of Baby Cereals Terms and Conditions


  1. This promotional competition (“Competition”) is run by Nestlé (South Africa) (Pty) Limited (“Promoter”) and is open to all persons of 18 years or older and resident in South Africa, except the employees and their immediate families of Promoter, Promoter’s advertising and promotion agencies, associated companies, and outlet owners and staff.
  2. These rules may be amended by notification at any time during the Competition, and will be interpreted by Promoter only. Participation by all entrants (“Participants”) constitutes acceptance of these rules.
  3. The Competition will commence on the 14th of September 2016 and end 30th September 2016.
  4. To participate in the Competition, each participant must: Comment with mealtime stories of their childhood memories that were told to them by their moms or grandparents.
  5. Participants stand a chance to win 1 of 10 pamper or dining vouchers to the value of R400.
    • The prizes are valid for single use only at participating venues and any balance remaining from the R400.00 value will be forfeited by the winner. Prizes are not transferrable for cash. The prize is valid until 1 May 2017
    • A participant can only win once and community manager has the right to decide which of the two prizes the participant will receive.
  6. 6 winners will be randomly selected and announced on the Friday at the end of each week for the 4 week period of the competition: Friday 16th, 23th, and 30th of September 2016.
  7. Potential winners will be contacted and requested to provide their contact details (email address and/or telephone number) via the Facebook inbox service. Once the chosen winners have supplied the necessary information, the following process will then be followed to allow them to redeem their prizes:
    • A mailer will be sent to the selected winners which will contain the prize description, unique reference number and concierge number.
    • Each winner is required to call the concierge service when they are ready to book their experience
    • When the winner contacts the concierge service, they will be required to quote their unique reference number from the mailer to validate their prize.
    • The concierge service then facilitates the booking process at a destination and time of the winner’s preference.
    • The winner will receive an SMS or email confirmation of their confirmed prize time and location.
  8. Prize winners will only qualify to receive ownership of the prize once all the prize winner’s details have been verified and confirmed, including compliance with these rules and satisfying the qualifying criterion set by the Promoters. PARTICIPATION

  1. All persons (“Participants”) entering the Nestle Nido 3+ “Buy and WIN” Promotion (“Promotion”) agree that the Promotion rules, as set out in these Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”), shall apply and are binding on them.
  2. Volcano IMC, TLC Marketing Worldwide (Pty) Ltd (“TLC”) and Nestlé (South Africa) (Pty) Limited are collectively referred to as the “Promoters” in respect of the Promotion for purposes of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. The following people shall not be eligible to participate in this Promotion:
    1. Directors, members, partners, promotional and advertising agents, merchandisers, employees or consultants of the Promotors.
    2. People who are not legal residents and/or legal citizens of the Republic of South Africa.
    3. Spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of the persons specified in a. above.
    4. Persons under the age of 18 years.
  4. This Promotion commences on 15 August 2016 and shall run until midnight on 31 October 2016 (“Campaign Period”), subject always to any early termination or extension thereof by the Promoters as contemplated in these Terms and Conditions.
  5. These Terms and Conditions override any advertising collateral or material in the event of any conflict.

PRIZES:
  1. INSTANT GRATIFICATION REWARD

  2. GRAND PRIZE DRAW
    Prize details:
    • The grand prize winner will receive 2016 Volvo XC60 T5 Geartronic Momentum valued at R606 000 including Vat and CO2 emissions.
    • The prize also includes a child seat which will be decided upon based on the winner’s needs, up to the value of R4000.
    • All entrants who participate in the competition and successfully comply with the Terms and Conditions have the opportunity of winning this prize.
    • The winners will be selected by random draw and notified by telephone call confirming that they have won a reward. The winners will be contacted within 48 hours to arrange delivery of the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted during this period, the prize will be deemed to have been forfeited by him/her.
    • Date of handover will take place within 2 months of date of winner announcement, and is dependent on the receipt of proof of insurance supplied by winner in order to register the vehicle in the winner’s name.
    • Licensing and registration is included in the prize
    • Winner needs to show proof of insurance before the car will be released.
    • The winner has to be a South African citizen with a valid driver’s license.
    • The Grand Prize will be “bought” by Nestle before being handed over to the winner (it is not Volvo Car Corporation competition).
    • The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or for a different color or model.
    • The car will be taken to the Volvo dealership nearest to where the winner lives at Volvo’s cost. The handover will take place there.
    • The winner must arrange their own transportation, at their own cost, to the Volvo dealership for the handover. Nestle is in no way responsible for the winner’s travel costs.
    • The promoters are in no way responsible for any risks or damages that may occur once the Volvo is handed over.
  3. ENTRY
    • To participate in this competition, purchase any size Nido 3+ tin, dial *120*2337# and enter the last 4 digits of the product barcode when prompted. Purchasing a 400g tin qualifies for one entry, a 900g tin qualifies them for two entries and a 1.8kg tin qualifies them for four entries.
    • Entry costs 20c for 20 seconds as per USSD entry. Free minutes do not apply.
    • Winners are determined by random draw.
    • Participants may enter the competition as many times as they wish over the promotional period, provided that participants purchase the participating products each time and complete the competition entry and enter a new unique code, subject to the following conditions:
      • All entries from disqualified participants’ cellphone numbers will be rejected
      • Only one prize per household and per person
      • No computer-based entries will be accepted
      • Participants must enter on a phone that is owned and registered to that person. No other person can use another person’s phone for competition entry purposes.     • Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the Participant or the Promoters in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("CPA").
    • The Participant acknowledges that he/she has been given an appropriate opportunity to first read these Terms and Conditions and that he/she understands and accepts these Terms and Conditions.
    • All Participants participate entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these Terms and Conditions, the Participant gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless the Promoters, their directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the Promotion and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of any of the Promoters.

  9. The prize winners will be notified telephonically on the number used to enter the competition. Upon receipt of the call the potential prize winner may be required to provide his / her email address (if available), work telephone number (if available) and a copy of his / her ID book and / or driver’s licence to a representative from Nestlé (South Africa) (Pty) Limited. At the time of the telephone call, the potential prize winner may be required to answer several questions about his / her eligibility and may be required to provide proof of purchase. If a potential prize winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the runner-up finalist. Potential prize winner is not an actual winner until his / her submission is validated and his / her documents are completed and submitted to Nestlé (South Africa) (Pty) Limited. In the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions by the potential prize winner, the prize will be forfeited and the runner-up finalist will be deemed the potential prize winner subject to all conditions herein.

By participating in this competition, entrants agree to the rules set out below.
  1. This competition is limited to residents of South Africa. In addition, the following people shall not be eligible to participate in this competition:
    1. Directors, members, partners, promotional and advertising agents, merchandisers, employees or consultants of Nestlé (South Africa) Proprietary Limited (“Nestlé”) and the organisers of the Competition.
    2. People who are not legal residents and/or legal citizens of the Republic of South Africa.
    3. Spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of the persons specified in 1.1 above.
  2. The competition shall commence on 1 July 2016 and will end on 30 September 2016. No entries received after 30 September 2016 will be considered.

    To participate in this competition, entrants must adhere to the following:
    1. Buy any of the participating Nestlé KITKAT products.

  5. The Prize:
    1. Participants in this competition stand a chance to win a share of R200,000 in Mega Break prizes and cash:
      1. Twelve (12) Mega Break winners who will be selected by means of a random draw will win 1 of 4 Mega Breaks each valued at R12,000 – Tech Break, Fashion Break, Music Break and Sports Break - worth R150,000 (Grand Prize). Three (3) Mega Break winners per Break Category.

  6. How to claim your prize:
    Grand Prize
    1. At the time that a potential prize winner of the Grand Prize is identified, the potential prize winner will receive a telephone call in the first week of October 2016 from a representative of Nestlé or a partner agency of Nestlé at which point he/she may be required to answer a few questions regarding his/her eligibility as well as be requested to submit certain documents to the Nestlé representative, such as (but not limited to):
      1. Till Slip Proof of Purchase.
      2. South African ID.
      3. Proof of Residence
    2. The potential prize winner is not an actual winner until his/her submission is validated and his/her documents are completed and submitted to Nestlé. If a potential prize winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, the prize will be forfeited and a runner up finalist will be deemed the potential prize winner subject to the terms and conditions herein.
    3. If Nestlé or the organisers of the competition are unable to reach any of the potential prize winners within 48 hours of their name being drawn, for whatsoever reason, including incorrect telephone numbers or inoperative telephone numbers, such winner will be disqualified and a runner up finalist will be deemed the potential prize winner subject to the terms and conditions herein.
    4. The Grand Prize winners will be published on the KITKAT website www.kitkat.co.za, Twitter @KitKatSA and Facebook: KitKatSA by 31st October 2016.
    5. Eligible winners will have their prizes delivered to them by a representative of Nestlé or a partner agency of Nestlé based on the information they will have shared via the above mentioned telephonic conversation.
    6. Cash Prize

    7. The following process will be followed to redeem cash prizes. The winners will be notified instantaneously via 2 x SMSs – one from TMARC Mobile Agency confirming the fact they have won and one from ABSA within 72 hours. The TMARC SMS will confirm the amount and the authorization PIN of 6 digits. The ABSA SMS will confirm the 10 digit withdrawal number as well as the amount.
    8. Winners can then go to any ABSA ATM, push CASHSEND Option and follow the prompts. Both the authorization PIN and the Withdrawal Access number are required to complete the transaction.
    9. Once TMARC and ABSA have confirmed the dispatch of codes to the winning number and confirmed the redemption of the cash from the ABSA ATM, the consumer will have no further claim against the promoter of the agency regarding the prize. If the consumer did not personally withdraw the money, the consumer must open a case to investigate further
    10. Cash Send vouchers are valid for 90 days.
  7. General
    1. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
    2. Nestle may require the winner to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement to enable Nestlé to ensure compliance with these rules. Should the winner be found not to have complied with these rules, he/she will automatically be disqualified and the prize will be forfeited. Winners may also be required to sign acceptance of prizes and indemnity documents.
    3. The prize is not transferable, and no substitution or cash redemption of prizes is permitted. The prize will not be handed/awarded to a third party, but only to the verified prize winner.
    4. Nestlé reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute the prize with any other prize of comparable or greater commercial value for whatever reason.
    5. By entering this competition you authorise Nestlé and the promoter, to collect, store and use (not share) personal information of entrants for communication or statistical purposes. You are entitled to decline any marketing communication by emailing consumer.services@za.nestle.com OR call 086 0096 116. Any personal data submitted by you will be used solely in accordance with current South African data protection legislation and Nestlé’s privacy policy.
    6. The winner or participants may be required to take part in publicity campaigns for broadcast or publishing purposes. Winners or participants shall at all times be entitled to decline the above request. Winners or participants that take part in any publicity will not be entitled to any payment or other remuneration for such publicity or otherwise. All publicity and other materials will be the sole property of the promoter.
    7. The organisers of the competition reserve the right to cancel or postpone the competition at any time.
