Nestlé pays particular attention to the health and wellness of its employees. This refers to their general state of wellbeing, be it physical, emotional or psycho-social.
Through the support given by the company, employees are able to maintain a healthy way of life that has a direct bearing on absenteeism rates, productivity, performance and staff retention.
As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the health and wellness of our employees, we have developed and implemented employee wellness initiatives across the business. We recognise that the Health and Wellness of our employees is one of the critical success factors to differentiate and grow our business.
Through our employee wellness initiatives, we aim to enhance the quality of life of all employees by providing them with information that will enable them to make the best possible life choices.

They are involved in programmes such as AIDS Day Activities, Corporate Social Investment Programmes, Health Days, Bandana Days, Health in Action, Dress Red Heart, Stroke Foundation and Cansa Shavathon.
