  1. By participating in this Competition, Participants agree to the rules set out below.
  2. This Competition is limited to residents of South Africa. In addition, the following people shall not be eligible to participate in this Competition:
    • Directors, members, partners, promotional and advertising agents, merchandisers, employees or consultants of the Promoters.
    • People who are not legal residents and/or legal citizens of the Republic of South Africa.
    • Spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of the persons specified in 1.1 above.
    • Persons under the age of 18 years.
  3. The Competition shall commence on 30 October 2017 and will end on 17 December 2017. No entries received after 17 December 2017 will be considered.
  4. Mechanics
    To participate in this Competition, Participants must adhere to the following:
    • Participants are required to buy any 2 packs of Cerelac or Nestum, SMS their details to 34449. Till slips should be retained as proof of purchase.
    • Winners will be determined by random draw that will happen between 18- 22 December 2017.
    • Participants may enter the competition as many times as they wish over the promotional period, provided that Participants purchase the participating products each time and complete the competition entry form:
      • No computer-based entries will be accepted
  5. The Prize:
    Participants in this Competition stand a chance to win one of 5 Little One Reversible Strollers value of R1 999 each.
  6. How to claim your prize:
    • At the time that a potential prize winner is identified, the potential prize winner will receive a telephone call from a Nestle representative - at which point he/she may be required to answer a few questions regarding his/her eligibility as well as be requested to submit certain documents such as proof of purchase (receipts) and a copy of his/her ID and/or driver’s license to the Promoters representative.
    • The potential prize winner is not an actual winner until his/her submission is validated and his/her documents submitted the Nestle Representatives. If a potential prize winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, the prize will be forfeited and a runner up finalist will be deemed the potential prize winner subject to the terms and conditions herein.
    • If the Nestle Representatives are unable to reach any of the potential prize winners after 3 (three) attempts made within 3 (three) working days of their name being drawn, for whatsoever reason, including incorrect telephone numbers or inoperative telephone numbers, such winner will be disqualified and a runner up finalist will be deemed the potential prize winner subject to the terms and conditions herein.
    • Eligible winners will have to collect their prize from participating stores and complete the relevant receipt of the prize documentation and supply identification based on the information they will have shared via the above mentioned telephonic conversation.
  7. General
    • The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
    • Nestle require the winner to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement to enable Nestle to ensure compliance with these Rules. Should the winner be found not to have complied with these Rules, he/she will automatically be disqualified and the prize will be forfeited. Winners may also be required to sign acceptance of prizes and indemnity documents.
    • The prize is not transferable, and no substitution or cash redemption of prizes is permitted. The prize will not be handed/awarded to a third party, but only to the verified prize winner.
    • The Promoters reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to substitute the prize with any other prize of comparable or greater commercial value for whatever reason.

    • Nothing in these Rules is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the Participant or the Promoters in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("CPA").
    • All Participants participate entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these Rules, the Participants give consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless Nestle, their directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the Competition and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of any of the Promoters.
    • Nestle, their directors, employees, agents and distributors accept no responsibility and they will not, in any circumstances, be liable to compensate the Participants, or accept any liability for: (a) any inability by the Participant to use the prize in part or at all; (b) the lack of quality or any other aspect of any service which is or should be provided at any venue(s) in relation to the prize; or (c) any personal loss or injury occurring at any venue(s) arising, directly or indirectly, out of the use of the prize.
    • Nestle, their directors, employees, agents and distributors, are not responsible for any misrepresentation (whether written or verbal) in respect of any prize nor in respect of any warranties or undertakings given by any person other than the Promoters themselves.
    • Nestle reserve the right to terminate or extend the Competition at any time. In the event of such termination or extension, all Participants agree to waive (give up) any rights that they may have in terms of the Promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoters, its advertising agencies, advisors, suppliers and nominated agents.
    • By entering the Competition, Participants acknowledge that the Nestle will be managed in accordance with the provisions of the CPA. Participants undertake to expeditiously do all things necessary to enable the Promoters to comply with their obligations under the CPA including, but not limited to providing such personal information as may be required in order to facilitate handing over the prize to the Participant. Should any Participant refuse or be unable to comply with this requirement, the Participant shall be deemed to have forfeited the prize.
    • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in these Rules, Nestle reserve the right to amend, modify, change, postpone suspend or cancel this Competition, the Rules and any prize (which has not yet been allocated), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which Nestle deem necessary. At the end of the Competition for whatsoever reason, all of the Promoters’ obligations in regard to the Competition as well as in regard to the prizes shall cease to exist.

Entry Mechanics

STEP 1
Customer spends R100 or buys a participating brand.

STEP 2
Customer gets an entry for every R100 spent AND for every participating brand bought.

STEP 3
Qualifying baskets will receive an extra till slip and customers can enter by USSD or SMS.

STEP 4
Once a customer has entered, they will be in the draw every day until 24 December.

Entries accumulate based on spend and purchase of participating brands. There is a max R5000 spend threshold (max 50 entries on spend), but no max entries on participating brands.

    • When completing their competition entry in store and on the website, each participant will be asked to complete an entry form by entering their name and surname, the name of the store they visited, email address, name of the toddler, and the age of their toddler. Participants will also be required to answer a question about the Nestlé NANKID 4 as part of the competition entry mechanism.
    • Participants may only enter the competition once over the competition period.
    • Only one prize per household and per person will be permitted.
    • No computer-based entries will be accepted.
    • Winners will be determined by random draw that will be held two days after the competition end date.

  4. The Prizes:

MILO Summer Competition

MILO Summer Competition  

By participating in this competition, entrants agree to the rules set out below.

  2. The competition shall commence on 2 October 2017 and will end on 15 December 2017. No entries received after 15 December 2017 will be considered.
  3. Only one prize will be awarded per household.
  4. Mechanics:
    To participate in this competition, entrants may enter the competition in 1 of the following 3 ways:
    • Retailer Mechanic:
      1. Participants are required to purchase any MILO 125g, 250g, 500g or 1kg to enter the competition and stand a chance to win an FC Barcelona branded soccer ball.
      2. Participants are required to dial *120*6456# and follow the prompts to enter. USSD Costs 20c/20sec (free minutes do not apply).
      3. Each participant must enter on a phone that is owned and registered to that person. No person can use another person’s phone for competition entry purposes. If it is discovered that a participant has entered on a phone that is not registered to them they will be disqualified.
      4. The cell phone number is key to entries. If the participant has won on a particular cell phone number, then they cannot use another number in order to be contacted further. The number with which each participant enters the competition needs to be a number that is contactable during office hours.
    • In-store promoter mechanic:
      1. The in-store promotional activation will occur in Gauteng and KZN on Saturday, December 2, 2017. .
      2. The in-store activations will occur in MILO’s top 50 stores (specifically Shoprite and Checkers stores) across KZN and Gauteng respectively. There are 25 participating Shoprite stores and 25 participating Checkers stores in total.
      3. To enter the competition during the in-store promotional activations on the date specified above, participants are required to purchase a MILO 500g pack at the relevant participating store, in order to instantly win an exclusive FC Barcelona and MILO branded soccer ball.
      4. Participants will get one ball per purchase and will be required to provide proof of purchase before being allowed to win.
    • Digital mechanic:
      1. Participants will be required to upload a video of their “young champion” to the MILO Facebook page, attempting the FC Barcelona skills and drills learnt through the content that will be uploaded on social media during the promotional period.
  5. The Prizes:
    Participants in this competition stand a chance to win:
    • Daily Prizes:
      There will be 800 winners in total for the duration of competition period (for the first 20 days there will be 14 winners drawn per day and thereafter 13 winners will be drawn per day for the duration of the competition period). Winners will be selected through a daily random draw. Each daily prize winner will win a FC Barcelona branded Football.
    • In store Prizes:
      There will be 1 100 winners in total (over the Saturday in which the in-store activations will take place – 2 December 2017.)
    • Digital Prizes:
      There will be 50 winners in total (campaign duration a total of 25 days therefore 2 winners drawn per day) for the duration of competition period. Winners will be selected through a daily random draw.
  6. How to claim your prize if you are one of the winning participants:
    • Daily Prize Winners:
      The winner will be notified telephonically where the winner will be required to provide their name, physical address, copy of their identity document/valid passport, and till slip as proof of purchase. Nestlé (or its agent) will endeavour to contact the prize winner once every day for 3 consecutive working days after their name is drawn. Each prize will be sent to the relevant winner via courier and delivery will take place between 1-2 weeks of completion of the verification process depending on the winner’s location. If a prize winner cannot be contacted during this period, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected in accordance with the rules.
    • In store Prize Winners:
      Winners will receive their prizes immediately on the spot once proof of purchase has been presented.
    • Digital Prize Winners:
      The winners will be notified via private message where the winner will be required to provide their name, physical address, copy of their identity document/valid passport. Nestlé (or its agent) will endeavour to contact the prize Winner once every day for 3 consecutive working days after their name is drawn. By participating in this competition, entrants agree to the terms and conditions set out below.

  1. Introduction
    • Participation in this Competition is governed by these terms and conditions (the “Rules”).
    • Participants are encouraged to review the Rules before entering into the Competition and acknowledge that they been given an appropriate opportunity to do so and that they understand and accept these Rules.
    • This competition is operated by Nestlé (South Africa) Proprietary Limited (“Nestlé”) in conjunction with TMARC (the “Promoters”).
    • Participation in the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Rules and Participants agree to abide by these Rules.
  2. By participating in this Competition, Participants agree to the rules set out below.
  3. This Competition is limited to residents of South Africa. In addition, the following people shall not be eligible to participate in this Competition:
    • Directors, members, partners, promotional and advertising agents, merchandisers, employees or consultants of the Promoters.
    • People who are not legal residents and/or legal citizens of the Republic of South Africa.
    • Spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of the persons specified in 2.1 above.
    • Persons under the age of 18 years.
  4. The Competition shall commence on 6 October 2017 and will end on 30 November 2017. No entries received after 30 November 2017 will be considered.
  5. Mechanics
    To participate in this Competition, Participants must adhere to the following:
    • Participants must purchase any 2 KITKAT 4 Finger Milk – either KITKAT 4 Finger Milk Original 45g and / or KITKAT 4 Finger Milk Limited Edition 41.5g from SPAR stores only during the promotional period and dial *120*3725*last4digitsofbarcode# to stand a chance to win a trip for 2 to London worth R50,000 and weekly cash prizes.
    • USSD sessions are charged from your airtime or billing balance and costs 20c for every 20 seconds you use the service (Free minutes do not apply). The average time for entry is under 20 seconds so your call should not exceed more than 40 seconds. Please ensure you terminate the call when complete in order to stop the call.
    • Participants may enter the competition as many times as they wish over the promotional period, provided that Participants purchase the participating products each time and complete the competition entry and enter a new unique code, subject to the following conditions:
      • All entries from disqualified participants’ mobile numbers will be rejected;
      • Only one prize per household and per person will be permitted;
      • No computer-based entries will be accepted;
      • Any mobile number that enters an incorrect unique code five (5) times in succession will be locked out of the Competition for the entire duration of the promotional competition (“Blocked Participants”).
    • Blocked Participants have an opportunity to call the Nestlé Call Centre on 011 514 6116 or 086 009 6116 between 09h00 – 16h30 Monday to Friday should there be a valid reason, which is accepted by the Promoter, for the Blocked Participants to be allowed to enter the Competition.
    • Participants must enter on a phone that is owned and registered to that person. No other person can use another person’s phone for Competition entry purposes. If it is discovered that participants have entered on a phone that is not registered to them they will be disqualified and the entrant will be requested to refund the prizes to promoter.
    • The cellphone number is key to all entries, if the participant has won on a particular cellphone number, then they cannot use another number in order to be contacted further. The number with which each participant enters the Competition needs to be a number that is contactable during office hours.
  6. The Prizes:
    • WEEKLY CASH PRIZES:
      • Participants stand a chance to win 1 of 6 cash prizes of R500 each during the following weekly periods (1 cash prize to be won per week):
        1. 20 October 2017;
        2. 27 October 2017;
        3. 3 November 2017;
        4. 10 November 2017;
        5. 17 November 2017;
        6. 24 November 2017;
      • Winners will be determined by random draw and will be contacted on the Monday following each period specified above.
      • At the time that a potential prize winner is identified, the potential prize winner will receive a telephone call from a representative of Nestlé at which point he / she will be required to provide his / her ID and / or driver’s license to the Nestlé representative. The potential prize winner will also be required to provide his / her banking details in order for the prize to be paid via EFT into the account. The prize winner must be the owner of the bank account, if another account is chosen, written consent from the account holder and prize winner must be obtained prior to payment.
      • The prize winner will also be required to provide a copy of a valid till slip as proof of purchase of the participating products within the promotional period.
      • Potential prize winners will have 48 hours to produce the relevant documentation failing which the Participant shall be deemed to have forfeited the prize and a runner up finalist will be deemed the potential prize winner subject to the terms and conditions herein.
    • GRAND PRIZE: Trip for 2 to London worth R50,000
      • There is 1 trip for 2 to London to the value of R50,000 to be won. The prize includes: flights, accommodation and specified meals, travel insurance, taxes and porterage. The prize excludes passport and Visa requirements where necessary, health requirements where necessary, optional excursions (unless specified otherwise), all items of personal nature, gratuities, and meals and beverages other than specified. All spending money is for the winner’s own account and no cash will be handed over to the winner. The prize is redeemable for a period of 1 year after the prize is awarded to the eligible winner (the “travel period”). The prize winner may select any date of travel during the travel period (except dates falling within the blackout/high season from December to January). Trips cannot be booked over the aforesaid blackout/high season period. All travel is subject to availability at the time of booking.
      • The prize is non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
      • Winners must be over the age of 18 years and have a valid ID and driver’s license. In addition, the prize winner and travel partner must have valid South African passports and will be required to meet the relevant VISA application criteria. The prize winner will be responsible for obtaining the necessary VISA and other travel documentation at their own expense. The prize winner will be required to sign a waiver of liability and indemnity before claiming his/her prize.
      • In the event that a prize winner does not have a valid South African passport and/or fails to meet the VISA application criteria, then the prize winner will forfeit the prize.
      • The Draw Date: Week of 4th December 2017
      • If a participant’s name is drawn, the potential prize winner will receive a telephone call from a representative of the Promoters at which point he/she may be required to answer a few questions regarding his/her eligibility as well as be requested to submit certain documents such as proof of purchase (receipts) and a copy of his/her ID and/or driver’s license to the Promoters representative.
      • The potential prize winner is not an actual winner until his/her submission is validated and his/her documents are completed and submitted to the Promoters. If a potential prize winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, the prize will be forfeited and a runner up finalist will be deemed the potential prize winner subject to the terms and conditions herein.
  7. General
    • If the Promoters are unable to reach any of the potential prize winners after 3 (three) attempts made within 2 (two) working days of their name being drawn or if the potential prize winner fails to submit any requested information or documentation with 48 hours of it being requested, for whatsoever reason, including incorrect telephone numbers or inoperative telephone numbers, such winner will be disqualified and a runner up finalist will be deemed the potential prize winner subject to the terms and conditions herein.
    • Eligible winners will have their prizes delivered to them by a representative of the Promoters based on the information they will have shared via the above mentioned telephonic conversation.
    • The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
    • The Promoters may require the winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement to enable the Promoters to ensure compliance with these Rules. Should a winner be found not to have complied with these Rules, he/she will automatically be disqualified and the prize will be forfeited. Winners may also be required to sign acceptance of prizes and indemnity documents.
    • The prizes are not transferable, and no substitution or cash redemption of prizes is permitted. A prize will not be handed/awarded to a third party, but only to the verified prize winner.
    • The Promoters reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to substitute the prize with any other prize of comparable or greater commercial value for whatever reason.
    • By entering this Competition you authorise the Promoters to collect, store and use (not share) personal information of Participants for communication or statistical purposes. Any personal data submitted by you will be used solely in accordance with current South African data protection legislation and Nestlé’s privacy policy.
    • Participants may be required to take part in publicity campaigns for broadcast or publishing purposes. Participants shall at all times be entitled to decline the above request. Participants that take part in any publicity will not be entitled to any payment or other remuneration for such publicity or otherwise. All publicity and other materials will be the sole property of the Promoters.
    • Nothing in these Rules is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the Participant or the Promoters in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("CPA").
    • All Participants participate entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these Rules, the Participants give consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless the Promoters, their directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the Competition and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of any of the Promoters.
    • The Promoters, their directors, employees, agents and distributors accept no responsibility and they will not, in any circumstances, be liable to compensate the Participants, or accept any liability for: (a) any inability by any winner to use their prize in part or at all; (b) the lack of quality or any other aspect of any service which is or should be provided at any venue(s) in relation to the prize; or (c) any personal loss or injury occurring at any venue(s) arising, directly or indirectly, out of the use of the prize.
    • The Promoters, their directors, employees, agents and distributors, are not responsible for any misrepresentation (whether written or verbal) in respect of any prize nor in respect of any warranties or undertakings given by any person other than the Promoters themselves.
    • The Promoters reserve the right to terminate or extend the Competition at any time. In the event of such termination or extension, all Participants agree to waive (give up) any rights that they may have in terms of the Promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoters, their advertising agencies, advisors, suppliers and nominated agents.
    • By entering the Competition, Participants acknowledge that the Promotion will be managed in accordance with the provisions of the CPA. Participants undertake to expeditiously do all things necessary to enable the Promoters to comply with their obligations under the CPA including, but not limited to providing such personal information as may be required in order to facilitate handing over the prize to the Participant. Should any Participant refuse or be unable to comply with this requirement, the Participant shall be deemed to have forfeited the prize.
    • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in these Rules, the Promoters reserve the right to amend, modify, change, postpone suspend or cancel this Competition, the Rules and any prize (which has not yet been allocated), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoters deem necessary. At the end of the Competition for whatsoever reason, all of the Promoters’ obligations in regard to the Competition as well as in regard to the prizes shall cease to exist.
    • These Rules shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of South Africa and any Participant and Nestlé consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of South Africa.
